Sam Millikin Promoted to Senior Vice President of PPG’s Aerospace Business

Millikin will continue leading this global strategic business.

PPG announced the promotion of Sam Millikin as senior vice president, aerospace, effective Jan. 1, 2026. In this role, Millikin will continue leading this global strategic business while reporting to Chancey Hagerty, senior vice president, automotive refinish coatings. Millikin is based out of Sylmar, California.

Millikin joined PPG in 1989 and has progressed through various roles of increasing responsibility during his 36 years with the company. This has included roles in account management, sales and marketing within PPG’s specialty coatings and materials business. In 2013, he joined PPG’s aerospace packaging business as a global platform business manager with responsibility for strategy development, pricing, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering/product development. Millikin was named global platform director for PPG’s aerospace sealants and packaging business in 2017 where he managed all aspects of this business. In 2020, he was appointed to the role of global platform director of PPG’s aerospace coatings and sealants business.
